Got your brand new PS3, PSP 3000 or PSP GO and no idea how to register your warranty? This guide is here to help!

Typically, we get 10-15 such calls a week from people who need help with their warranty registration so this guide has been long overdue!
You will need:
- An unregistered email address not tied to the PSN network
- An internet connection (if you are reading this most likely you do
Open another window/tab so you can follow instructions and key in the required data more efficiently.
Step 1:
Head over to asia.playstation.com

Step 2: You will come to a page with many options.


Never know when the extra 90 days offer will end.
Step 3:

On the next page, scroll down until you see

Step 5:
Get ready your email address.

You will jump to the following page. Unless you already have an account registered, you can always create a new one now.

Step 6:
Creating your brand new Playstation Network Account for Singapore.



At this point of time, an email will be sent for you to verify the information you have keyed in.
Please login to your email. Once you click on the verification link your registration will proceed.



Step 7:
Head back to the PSN login page with your brand new PSN account!



If you still have no clue which model number your PS3 Slim is, I hope the following picture will suffice.

The PSPs would be a more straightforward affair as there isn’t as many models compared to the PS3.
Step 8:
The most critical step of the guide.
There will be a few fields to fill in.
Do make sure to fill in exactly as indicated in the picture.
Of course, your own serial number is found at the bottom of the box.

Hi there…many thanks for the help on REGISTERING hardware.
Jus a quick check..after successfully registering hardware, the webpage states “registering is not warrantee”
Can i clarify what that really means?? Is the warrantee based on registering? or must i submit again for warrantee??

I just purchase a PS3 console by yesterday (25/06/2010) and after the product registration the expiry day is show me on 30/06/2010?

The warranty priod is only for 5 day?

for some reason a few of these steps dont work, perhaps due to sonys problem.
but an agent (ashton) from qisahn was quick and nice enough to help and guide me throughout the whole process – even though there might be customers there/online asking things regarding games.
he didnt have to help me, i mean, he doesnt gain anything or earn money out of it. but despite that, he helped me create an account successfully.
im very grateful for that and i can now assure everyone that not only qisahn sells the cheapest consoles/games, they have the best service and agents!
