One of the most common scary stories that new Wii owners often retell is the final bill that is calculated after choosing their items.
A good half, or close to that, of the bill is largely made up of accessories.
“But the Wii only starts at $319! How did it end up with $6XX?!” Many a customer cry foul of Nintendo’s nefarious business model!
A good thing is that Nyko has come up with their Wand+ which is essentially a Wiimote with a built in Motion+, expected retail price? USD$40. Till reviews are out I’ll start by saying its cheap and save the “good” for later.
By current prices, a Wiimote costs $45 and Motion+ is $30, so there is a small savings when getting the Wand+.
How reliable is the 3rd party accessory? We’ll just have to wait and find out then!
Nothing else big from CES, except more NATAL (pronounced NAR-TAL, I was doing it all wrong!) which would bore many with the technical stuff and all.
