Final Fantasy XIII-2 To Be Released with English/Mandarin Subs

Fans of Final Fantasy XIII would know that the “Chinese” version of the game was highly sought after. Apart from the new cover of Lightning, the game was unique in the way that it retained the Japanese voices while providing subtitles to the game.

Honestly, for story driven games such as Final Fantasy, this should have been always been the case. Hurrah for Final Fantasy XIII-2 then! Coming in at only a month behind the Japanese release, Final Fantasy XIII-2 will feature both Mandarin and

English subtitles with the original Japanese voice overs.

The official release date for the local version would be 31st January 2012. Mark your calenders. For those who prefer a full English language version, such an edition would be available on the same day as well.
