This time round it appears that the partnership with the real-deal Blizzard dudes have paid off.
Compared to the previous “the-game-name-that-no-one-should-utter” game, we can pretty much expect things to get even better in the coming months. Support wise, with the full muscle and backing of Blizzard, the path to greatness could very well be paved.
Remember, US BNET in 60 days!
I for one remember the horrendous queue at The Burning Crusade launch event. And to think that time the only item that was given out was only the box set. This launch event in comparison was far more organized. Everything went into turbo overdrive by 4.30 p.m.
Okay enough grumbling, on with the good stuff! Let’s take a look at what the fellow fans who braved the Sun and persisted in getting their goody bags got a hold off.
Bonus round: I’ll give you a look at what Razer was handing out to the lucky draw winners as well!

Tears of joy: The second in line comforting the first (I made that up, just in case)

Being pretty new at actually doing an in-person interview, I actually didn’t have enough questions to ask!
20 minutes felt like an eternity, but thanks to you guys I did improv abit along the way and I do hope you enjoy what I’ve been able to dig up for you.

Here’s a quick rundown on how things actually look on the ground.
The weather is nice and cloudy so it’s not exactly too bad to be standing in the queue.
The gals who will be attending to you today:

I’ll be getting 20 minutes with the dude up top to pick his brain of all the naughty secrets that Blizzard has in store for us gamers!

So here’s the master plan: You guys email me, comment me or Facebook me the questions and I will try my best the get them answered, simple enough!
Our angle of attack? Let’s ask questions that the boring gaming magazines don’t! How’s this one for a good example:
What is Kerrigan’s Cup Size? -inspired by NGNT
Just try your best to get as creative as possible and I’ll see if there’s any loot that I can pass on to you guys after the event for participating (there’s no free lunch in this world!)
Don’t be sad if your question is not picked, they have to be vetted before I ask the main man himself. Bummer.

There are 2 types of visitors at E3. The media and the industry affiliates. Sadly, we registered as industry affiliates as we are clearly more about selling rather than blogging.
That was a huge mistake.
Media people get access to more areas in E3 and can skip queues to test demos
To my surprise, most people with media passes have only a compact camera on them. We should have gone in with a media pass. With my photographer friend and his huge s camera, we could have easily passed off as an awesome game blog in the arena.
But if we compare, we are like flies to the real media companies.

So as you guys might know, I was at E3 last week. I’m surprised to have readers who actually want to hear more about my experience at E3. I guess I should stop procrastinating and start blogging. Like it or not, I’ll be making a post a day for the next 7 days about my experience :/
Let’s start the ball rolling with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.

Come June 19th, all DS consoles, including the newly released DSi XL will see a downward revision in prices in Japan.
This piece of news hits us as the video game industry braces itself for the upcoming E3 video game show this month where Nintendo is set to unveil their brand new handheld, a 3D version of the DS.

The last time Nintendo ventured into a 3D “portable” it was a Virtual Boy that only displayed 2 colors and gave users a headache after each session. I remember trying it out at the Singapore Discovery Centre back in the day.
With 3D the buzzword of the months past and to come, Nintendo’s effort to leap into new technology is actually something that they do not usually do, preferring to stick to the tried and tested modes of gaming.
My opinion is that if the 3D DS does not come with a toggle button, asprin makers will be rolling in the bucks as well.

I had a tough time thinking of a good title for this post.

Firstly, the ‘New’ Wiimote isn’t new per se. Supposedly an integrated Motion+ Wiimote and ‘something else’.
I’ll getting carried away with all the apostrophes here.
Nyko has already launched something similar just that it’s a 3rd party product.
It’s new and it’s something coming from Nintendo and it wants your money!
