I didn’t until I visited one of my favourite aggregators.
And it so happened that I bought the Blu Ray over the past week. It is still unwrapped on my desk. Red Dead Redemption did an amazing job packing in a myraid of references into the game. Thankfully there isn’t a sniper class. Damn I hate those. The soldier is the muscle, the scientist and scout are the support and the leader BUFFS?! It is shaping up to be very much like Resistance 2, not like that is a bad thing. So that’s Modnation for me in May and Transformers in June. Let’s hope this version of Transformers does not tank. If EA can get away with yearly releases with FIFA, Capcom can surely be forgiven for releasing an update to their bread-and-butter fighting series.
It has been roughly a year since the first edition was released, and how would I know? Cos the last time I saw a mutual real life friend on the PSN was a year ago as told by my friends list. And the game we played? Street Fighter IV of course! Anyway back to topic, here’s a quick rundown on why Super Street Fighter IV would be worth shelling out for. 10 new characters. New ultra combos for each character. New costumes (as if this mattered). New online tournament modes. And, existing owners ‘may’ get special content! My guess: All the paid DLC costumes *cough*ripoff*cough* While the skeptics may think Capcom is simply out to rob the fellow gamer, I do feel that 10 new characters is brings plenty of variety to the already impressive roster. While many characters are basically differentiated archtypes, you cannot deny that fresh faces do bring a breath of fresh air to the series. Still not convinced? Check this Ultra combo trailer out. Lists are simple articles. They come in easy to digest packages and when pictures are included it makes the post very easy to digest. Anyway, I came across this “Five Reasons You Absolutely Must Buy An Xbox 360 This Year” and I half expected the same few items that Microsoft marketers constantly rave about. Natal, blah, price, blah, exclusives, blah. What I did take home at the end of the article was this.
