Store Pickup
You will be able to pick up your game from our store from 15 May 2012. We will email customers on 14 May 2012 evening to confirm the earliest possible collection timing. We are working hard to make the collection timing early, but we have to wait for Diablo III to be physically in Singapore before we can commit to an exact time.

We anticipate a crowd on 15 May 2012 and will be dividing the traffic into 2. There will be 2 queues. Namely the ‘Fast lane’ and the ‘Regular lane’

Fast Lane
Our aim is to have the customer leave our counter in 10 seconds. It should be literally pay and go at this lane. To qualify for this, you need to meet 4 requirements:

1. Prepare balance in CASH
2. Ensure EXACT amount as no change will be given at the Fast Lane.
3. Hold the cash in one hand.
4. In the other hand, hold the mobile phone you registered with us and preset it to the loudest volume.

When you reach the counter, tell us your mobile and hand us the cash. Within seconds your phone will receive a SMS. The SMS is for identity verification. We will next pass you your Diablo III. Please leave the counter immediately once you count the quantity to be correct. Plastic bags are near the entrance. Receipt will be in your email.

Regular lane
Admittedly, the Fast Lane can be stressful or confusing. If you have questions to ask or are unsure, do use the Regular Lane instead.

Email Delivery

For those who opted for email delivery, please pay and notify us by 10 May 2012 to avoid unnecessary delays. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to late payment. CD Keys will be emailed out by 15 May 2012, 3pm.

Singapore Courier

Please do not use courier services if you are in a rush. The tentative courier timings are 2-5pm 15 May 2012 or 7-9pm 15 May 2012. However, please plan for delays and note that we are not responsible for delays. The courier charge is S$6 for up to 6 copies and S$8 for 7 or more. All copies will be sent to the same address.  Please make FULL payment and notify us by 10 May 2012 to avoid unnecessary delays.

Malaysia Courier

All Diablo 3 will be posted by 15 May 2012 via Pos Laju. You can expect delivery on 16 May 2012, subjected to delays by PosLaju. We are currently waiving Poslaju charges if you can pay and notify us by 10 May 2012. Thereafter, Poslaju fees are at RM6 for a single copy and RM12 for 4 copies.

Additionally, there is a RM10,000 daily receiving limit on our bank accounts. We are not responsible for charges or delays arising from limitations set forth by the bank. We will not waive any associated fees for late payments or late shipments, nor will we offer discounts or compensations. You are advised to make immediate payment to avoid complications.

No preorder

For customers who did not preorder, Diablo III will be available on sale from 15 May 2012. Our price is at $71.90 for one copy and $68.90 each for four copies.

The Max Payne 3 demo starts off with Max with an ally in a seedy bar under fire from some enemies. Taking out those guys resulted in a cutscene showing the target that Max was tailing and he, along with his friend, proceeded to chase after him out the back door to an alleyway. Two cars full of enemies then drive into the alley and a firefight ensues while the target makes his escape. After disposing of all the enemies, the chase continued, with Max and his compatriot following the target’s trail down the alley whereby two more cars of enemies come out. The demo ended, far too quickly in my opinion, after I took down the enemies and followed our target into another building.

Overall, I would say that the new game is an enjoyable, updated addition to the Max Payne series. The graphics have improved from Max Payne 2, with nice details and smooth animations without any stuttering. The neo-noir style has been reduced quite a bit, although the environments still has most of the dark and dirty New York City feel.

The hallmark shoot-dodge and bullet time mechanics from previous games are still present; you gain bullet time from killing enemies, and use it by performing shoot-dodges or by manually toggling it. The slow motion zooming in on the bullet hitting the last enemy in the room as they get shot is still around and looks much cooler, although there was an error once during my playthrough where the screen turned black during the whole scene; the staff on hand stated that it was still a work in progress and that bugs will still getting worked on.

I was limited in the choices of weapons I could use as pistols were the only weapons available during the demo. The pistols could be dual-wielded and health was regenerated using painkillers as in the previous games. Ammo was in relatively short supply and I ran out of bullets during the last confrontation before the demo ended. I was out of painkillers and ammo, but it led to one of the most exhilarating encounters I had with the game. Low on bullet time as well, I ran forward and rushed to the nearest enemy, meleed him and took his gun before succumbing to fire from the other attackers. It was at this point that the new game mechanic came into play that literally saved my life: after you get downed, you get a short duration of time, in slow motion, to eliminate the attacker that killed you, whereupon you get revived and continue the fight. This was a great system as it creates points of tension in the game to allow you to come back from behind when things seem grim while maintaining momentum moving forward. Health in Max Payne does not automatically regenerate like other FPS, and judicious use of painkillers are important. However this second chance allows one to continue onwards after making some mistakes even though the odds seem against you.

At less than ten minutes long, the short duration of the demo made the two hour wait almost not worth it, but having the opportunity to play Max Payne 3 (Rockstar has said that no demos are planned) was still an amazing experience that left me eagerly awaiting its release.

When will you have stocks?

What time can I pick up Diablo 3 from store?
Diablo will be on sale from 15 May 2012. We are however not ready to confirm the timing but we expect it to be in the morning. We will shout out via Facebook once we are ready with our preparations. A few hours later, we will go on Twitter. We will send email notifications another few hours later. We are trying to stagger the traffic and keep the queue as short as we can. We apologize for the lack of a detailed answer, but we assure you, we want you to be able to reach home before 15 May 2012 3pm.

What are the payment options?
For courier and email delivery, bank transfer only. No cash on delivery.
For store pick up, bank transfer or cash only. No “NETS”, “Credit Cards”, “Cheques”.

Why make a deposit? Are deposits a must?
As of 5 May 2012, we are no longer accepting deposits or full payments for store pickups. We are however asking for full payments for courier and email deliveries.

Customers who haven’t made a deposit will be sold based on a first come first served basis.
Customers who had made a deposit prior to 5 May 2012 gets confirmed stock allocation.
Customers who made full payment before 5 May 2012 will be served in the queue, assuming there is a queue.

What region will your Diablo III be?
A mix as we import from many countries. Diablo III has been confirmed by Blizzard to be region free, so the region you buy does not matter. If you only want the game from a particular country for collection purposes, do not preorder with us.

What is the difference between the US and SEA server?
There is no “SEA” server. There are only three servers, namely, Europe, Asia and US. Singapore and Malaysia are under US servers by default, but you can choose to play on another server. Source

I heard the Real Money Auction House (RMAH) is region locked?
There are region restrictions, but that is based on the address in your Blizzard account, not your game. Source

I heard you have some issues with the agent, Asiasoft?
That has passed. But anyway, we are not taking any stock from them. Our stocks are all parallel imports and cheaper.

Why should I buy parallel imports?
Only 1 reason. Cheaper.

Why should I NOT buy parallel imports?
Uncertainty of release date. Right now the only supplier who can guarantee stocks on 15 May 2012 in Singapore and Malaysia is Asiasoft, the official agent. However we are not taking any stocks from them. We will be ordering with more than 5 overseas suppliers (closer to 10) and each and everyone of them are (verbally) promising us delivery by 15 May 2012. We are doing our best to reduce the possibility of us not having stocks on 15 May 2012 and we are confident we can achieve it.

What happens if you miss the release date?
For standard edition, full refund on any deposits paid on request. We will also point you in the direction of the which store has the cheapest Diablo III on their shelves come 15 May. We will be able to tell if our shipments are going to be late from around 12 May 2012 when tracking numbers start coming in (or not). BUT, like I said, we will do our best to prevent such a situation.

When is the last day to preorder?
We will close preorder by 8 May 2012. It may be earlier than that but we are not sure.

Less frequently asked questions

You are not offering Singapore Post mailing services for this preorder?
We find Singpost loses about 1 out of every 200-300 mails. Judging from the preorder figures, it is seems guaranteed there will be at least one lost mail should we offer this service. We don’t want to deal with angry customers.

I see Blizzard is offering an Asia server, are we not Asia?
Asia server is for Taiwan, South Korea… not Singapore / Malaysia. We don’t understand why either but we are not complaining. We prefer to play in English anyway.

Will you release stocks early should your shipment comes in early?
If we have stocks early, we will ship early so customers can receive it on 15 May 2012. However, we make no guarantees on customers being able to get a copy on 14 May 2012 or earlier.

Can I collect my game after 15 May 2012?
For those with deposits, please collect by 15 June 2012. For those without deposits, please collect by 22 May 2012.

I ordered 4 Diablo III, do all my friends need to show up during collection?
Please don’t. For store pick up, only send the person who registered the preorder. For courier, we will mail all 4 to the address of the person who registered the preorder. We need to keep logistics simple. If you want individual collection or deliveries, preorder at the Solo Price. Thank you.

I received an email saying price is not confirmed. So is it confirmed or not confirmed?
If you made your preorder before 26/3/12, you would have received our standard automated response. We always offer good prices on preorders, but rarely do we publish it so as to maintain relations with distributor and at the same time, help our customers. We have since fixed the automated mailer for Diablo III so it is clear the price you preordered is the final price you pay. I want the best deal for just the game, what should I do?
Leave your contact information on our Diablo III preorder page. Don’t pay any deposit, wait for our news.  There are too many unknowns right now for us to tell you which is the best deal. We will update again via email.

I want the best deal for the collector edition, what should I do?
Based on past experiences, Blizzard is not going to oversupply the market with collector editions. The fans are snapping these up fast. You do not have time to think or ponder. Forget about “the best deal”. Put your deposit down on our Diablo III collector preorder page ASAP.

What is the difference between US or SEA edition?
Based on their official announcement, the game server would be the same. The auction house however is locked and Blizzard has not discussed how they would decide a player will belong to which region. Would it be via IP? By address? Or by the game copy? Blizzard is not telling yet.

What is the difference between (1st batch) and (2nd batch) as per your website?
Customers under the first batch are guaranteed delivery, otherwise we pay them a penalty. However, due to the lifting of the region restrictions, we expect Diablo III (US import) to be in hot demand and thus we no longer want to make any more guarantees. We expect both batches to reach at the same time, but in the event of a shortage, priority goes to customers in the first batch.

What is the difference between US or SEA Collector edition?
We can’t be sure yet as the SEA collector edition has not been announced, do check their official site. What we know though is that the US edition will be late as shipping takes time. We are giving ourselves a safety buffer of 2 weeks.

Can I still preorder Diablo III SEA Collector edition?
Not from us, sorry, our preorder is over subscribed two months back. Each customer had also paid a $100 deposit. We are working on securing stocks for them rather than adding to the preorder.

What will the prices be like?
Suggested Retail Price for the standard edition is $89.90. No updates on the collector edition. We also do not know our prices yet.

Will there be a preorder card? I want to go to the launch event.
Suggested Retail Price is $89.90, yes we will have it, but we don’t know our actual retail price yet.

Will your import from US? It seems to be cheaper there.
Maybe, but we need Blizzard to make announcement on the auction house region issue before we can confirm.

We thank our customers for believing us when we told them two of our recent releases though unsealed, are brand new. We sell new games, we sell used games, but we never pass off used as new.

We previously explained the lack of seal to be “act of supplier”. We apologize, but this is just half the truth.

There are many parties in the video game industry, for example, agents, distributors, retailers and customers. Qisahn.com is a retailer and our company mission is to offer the most competitive prices to our customers. As a result, our prices often represent a steep discount from the suggested retail price set forth by the agent.

Often, we are able to reach a compromise with the agent and distributors. However, talks broke down with one of the agent last month. The agent started tagging their games to better control the distribution channels. We explored different options but for now, removing the plastic wrapping is our only way to avoid the tags and to protect our trusted suppliers.

We take our hats off to agents and distributors who have shown tolerance to us, we know we have stretched the definitions of your policies. We salute our customers for showing us unwavering support even when we trip. Your collective buying power is a huge trump card on negotiation tables and we do not stop fighting for lower prices for you.

We will continue to try and engage the agent for a compromise. In the mean time, “Like” if you support lower prices. “Share” if you agree with our actions.

Customers LOVE our chatbox, it is fast and convenient. We have at least one dedicated moderator on the chat box daily between 10am to 1am daily to ensure the best service for customers. However, our chat box has its limitation and we hope to have our customers’ understanding on this.

Inbuilt spam filter we cannot control

Our chat application is provided by cBox.ws, a popular chat service used by many blogs. However, most blogs do not have as heavy traffic as ours. The sheer number of chats going through our box confuses their spambot a lot and occasionally, customers get banned for no reason. If this happens, slow down your replies, clear your cache and try again in half hour. Sorry for the inconvenience

Chat box hours are longer than store hours

Chat box hours are 10am to 1am daily. Yes we dedicate 15 hours daily to providing service online. However, store hours are 12pm to 8pm. If your query can only answered by a personnel in store, the response time will not be instant.  We thank you for your understanding.

I’m lying, chats are recorded. However, it is very troublesome to retrieve the records. We made a mistake between 21/2/12 to 26/2/12 in our sale of PS Vita. We have previously proposed some solutions in our Facebook entry.

We thank customers for their trust. For those going for the in house warranty, you won’t be disappointed. For those waiting for the exchange, we are working hard to secure Sony Singapore warrantied sets. We want to correct our mistake by offering you a true Sony Singapore warrantied set at the price you had paid. We did not think you wanted a refund only to pay $34-$40 more for a local warrantied set. However, we know we can’t speak for all customers, thus the request for customers to email admin@qisahn.com if our proposals were not what you want.

No refund has been made yet

We have made zero refunds till date. I received only 3 emails at admin@qisahn.com. The first wanted a refund if we couldn’t deliver the SG set, which was very similar to our Proposal 2b. The second changed his mind about an immediate refund after being offered one and the last was received a few hours ago from a customer wanting to find out more about switching of consoles and possible refund options. We can’t be sure our proposals were the best options, but neither is refund.

Our hats off to you guys, the trust during our low is very encouraging. There will be a customer appreciation sale once we put this saga behind us… Maybe last week of March / first week of April? Follow us on Facebook to be in the know. Thank you once again T_T

PS Vita 3G (SG Set) may not come in time

Regrettably, at this point in time, we think the chances of Singapore Sony launching PS Vita 3G in March is low. There has been no updates at all, no rumors either. For customers wanting an exchange, we are very sorry to have to disappoint you, but we think we are really going to fail this round. Instead of scrambling at the very last minute, we hope to make this process as smooth as possible.

Refund process

For customers who bought a 3G PS Vita from us between 21/2/12 to 24/2/12, there was a high chance you have been misled by our words.  We will like to offer you Proposal 1 as detailed in http://qisa.hn/proposal or a full refund. We are sorry but circumstances have forced us to drop Proposal 2 Customers who purchased 3G set on 25/2/12 or 26/2/12 would have the situation explained to you, thus only Proposal 1 is offered.

For the refund, please bring everything back, including receipt(s), the box of the PS Vita and every accessory inside the box. Scratches are not a reason for us to reject a refund, but PS Vita with warranty voided will not be eligible for a refund. Examples of voided warranty will be dismantled PS Vita, PS Vita dropped in water or suffering from any other form of serious physical damage, like burn marks, cracked screens. If you had bought games / accessories, we understand you may not need them any more since the PS Vita is refunded. We can refund those too as long as you have receipts.

The refund will be in cash. Please return to store by 26/3/12 for the refund. If we do not hear from you by 26/3/12, we will assume you accept Proposal 1. As per Proposal 1, we will offer 2 years in house warranty coverage on your PS Vita and a $10 refund in credit. You need to present your receipt for the $10 credit.

For those wanting to exchange to a PS Vita Wifi (SG Set), please hold on to the set for a little while longer. We will probably have answers soon. The price gap between 3G and Wifi is $80 and we can do a partial refund. We just need to confirm stocks availability before making more promises and we will update as soon as we have the SG sets in store.

Update 21/3/12: It has been 21 days since we last made a major change to our shipping policy. Alas, DHL Globalmail did not go as well as we hoped it would be. We will be restoring Pos Laju services.

This has been a confusing 2 week for our Malaysian customers. We used to offer delivery via Pos Laju every Monday and Thursday. However, we had to abruptly discontinue to the service this week as our old service provider has raised their prices.. significantly.

We scrambled to find a new option, but it is both slower and more expensive than our previous option. We will not be offering this as our preferred option again.

From 5 March 2012 onwards, we will be calling our mail service “standard mail”. It will be primarily fulfilled by DHL Globalmail. Our delivery time will increase to 4 to 9 days. Previously it was 1 to 5 days via poslaju. At the same time, we will waive all postage fees as long as your parcel is less than 1kg. One thing that doesn’t change is lost / damaged mails are insured by us, Qisahn.com.

Customers are encouraged to keep their orders to 3 games or less to avoid being taxed by customs. You can make multiple orders. The official word by customs is:

In accordance to Item 172 Customs Duties (Exemption) Order 1988 and Item 90 Sales Tax (Exemption) Order 2008, any person importing goods except cigarettes, tobacco and intoxicating liquor, using air courier service and the value of the goods not exceeding RM500.00 per consignment (CIF = Cost + Insurance + Freight ) are exempted from duty/tax. These exemptions are subject to the value of the goods being accepted by the assessment officer.

If you order too many games, we will send in multiple envelopes.

For the smaller preorders, we will no longer send  via Pos Laju. For the big releases, we will continue to engage the old service provider to send via Pos Laju as soon as we have the stocks.

For customers ordering high value items like PS3 and Wii consoles, I regret to say we will not be able to offer it for them time being, but we should restore this option by end of March.

It is sad we have to lose some of our customers because we are no longer as fast as before, but we hope customers buying only 1 game can take advantage of this as the delivery charge for single copies is now free. Also, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. If you have an ongoing order and were affected negatively by our change, Chris should have contacted you. We have received numerous complains that our PS Vita’s warranty cannot be registered. Accurate as of writing, our sets indeed cannot go through online registration. We advertise our PS Vitas as warrantied by Sony Singapore and we expect just that. For every customer wanting to buy a PS Vita in store from us, we tell you upfront in store the registration process is only available in 30 days.

We had the exact same issue with PS3 Slims and once more when PS3 Slim switched from 120gb/250gb to 160gb/320gb. We told customers the same thing back then and everything went smoothly. We have been told Sony needs time to update their database and in the last 2 instances, they delivered. I do not see why this is an exception.

We have seen many sarcastic comments along the lines of “Wow, Qisahn.com can update warranty of Sony’s database”. We can’t. Our supplier is the one with the capabilities as they are the true big shots in the Playstation distribution chain. We are but a small cog in the system.

We received questions along the lines of “Why wait 30 days?”. The truth be told, most companies do not produce magic. Logistics, especially during product launches, is a big challenge. It does take time for our supplier and Sony to register all the PS Vitas. Our supplier assures us the batch of serial numbers has already been submitted to Sony and it will be registered in March.

We had customers ask about the Hong Kong warranty stickers they see on our sets. For those with the sticker, remove it as it is covering the Singapore warranty label. From today onwards, we will remove this sticker label before sales. Hopefully this will cause less confusion.

Next, we have customers who bought a Hong Kong set before launch asking about the possibility of warranty in Singapore, because like the Singapore sets, beneath the Hong Kong seal , it says Singapore. I’m guessing the chances are low, because Singapore’s distribution chain did not acknowledge these sets.

Lastly (hopefully), we have questions about the 3G sets. Sony Singapore is not selling 3G sets yet. It is rightly pointed out by our customers that Sony Singapore will never offer warranty for the 3G sets until they actually do sell them. Our supplier confirms that he won’t be able to get these local warrantied until they are officially launched in Singapore. However, once the 3G set launches, warranty for current batch of 3G Vita will be accepted by Sony Singapore. Our receipt date cannot be before the launch though, but that is something we can easily fix.

From today onwards, we will be raising more flags before each 3G Vita sales. We apologize to customers who have been mislead earlier. I admit my mistake, but I assure you, Qisahn.com, at the bare minimum, will cover for warranty if Sony Singapore does not. However before you come in and “bang table”, please do wait out the 30 days first.

For those who bought the Wifi Vita, there is no need to worry. For some, it seems like we are selling magic water. But, I assure all customers we are working with the right people and things will get done.

We will tweet / email preorders / post on Facebook once the registration can be made. Till then, I beg for less angst and a little more patience in this 30 days. Thank you all my bosses~~~
