Space Invaders Galaxy Beat

A different take on the 1978 classic. Future Mode takes place over 13 stages, leading you from Pluto to Earth as the invaders approach from outside the solar system. You have to shoot down the mothership, otherwise invaders will flee and bring back reinforcements when their numbers are low. While playing this polygon-based mode, you can switch off between three viewpoints. Future Mode has one cool twist that fans of music games will appreciate. You now have a "Beat Attack" which you send out using the triangle button. You have to time your shots with the music. Do this repeatedly, and the game's music will change. In addition to future mode, Galaxy Beat includes a classic mode, which is a perfect port of the 1978 original, match up mode, in which the screen rotates 90 degrees and two players can compete on a single PSP, and wireless mode, playable by up to four players.
